M.e. (Mary Elise)

M.e. is an ecstatic dance DJ and sonic alchemist known for her raw, eclectic, and electric sound journeys— free form, primal, and sensual, designed to awaken the body and move the soul. With a decade immersed in the EDM and festival scene, her style is shaped by a deep love for dance floors that open the heart.

Her music pulses with the wild spirit of rave culture but is deeply intentional, rooted in over 11 years of yoga as a trauma informed yoga teacher, somatic healing, and conscious movement practices. Each set serves as a visceral ceremony of rhythm and release, where bodies undulate like waves, bare feet pound the earth, and sweat becomes sacred.

As the founder of Wake Your Waters, M.e. is dedicated to bringing consistent ecstatic dance experiences featuring music by conscious artists to the Detroit area. She invites you to explore yourself and connect with community on the dance floor.
