In this sacred frame drumming session, we set aside the stick, and awaken the drum through our hands. Guided through the elemental strokes of Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space we’ll explore some basic rhythms and build a shared groove.  Together we’ll weave rhythm, presence, and connection as our embodied, intuitive language.

Teacher Bio

Asia Sikkila is a rhythm and movement guide, textile artist, and facilitator of women’s gatherings. She creates spaces that invite connection, embodiment, and remembering rhythm as an instinctual language.

She is the founder of Sisters in Rhythm Drum Circles and the creator of Awanya Designs, a wearable art line rooted in handwoven textiles, natural dyes, and ancestral craft traditions. Through rhythm, movement, and fiber art, Asia’s work honors culture, presence, and community.
