Words have power. In this workshop, you will embark on the journey of tapping into your personal power through your words. As humans we typically adopt a way of thinking that is influenced by our family, our environment, and often the traumas we have faced. After a lifetime of events we end up operating on autopilot somewhat stuck in our way of thinking. In order to break free from this paradigm our challenge is to reprogram our mind to see things another way, from another perspective.
In this workshop, you will get the opportunity to hone-in on who you want to be and what you want to create outside of where you have already been. We will sift through the mud and get to the gems at the core of your being. Using writing as a healing outlet you will be able to delve deeper into self reflection to find your focus from a spiritual standpoint.
Each participant will leave this workshop with a stronger sense of self and an easy-to-remember mantra they can use to center their focus whenever needed.
Herb’n Healing: Since the dawn of time our indigenous ancestors have looked to the Earth for healing. As a people it’s vital we get back to living holistically, which starts with a reverence and sustainable coexistence with Mother Earth. The elders of our indigenous communities understood that the Earth provides everything that we need to balance the 4 aspects of health, our spiritual, mental, physical and emotional well-being.
In this workshop, participants will explore the history of working with herbs for healing practices, uncover the spiritual properties of common kitchen herbs, and satiate the senses enjoying herbal treats. We will connect Cannabis back to spirit and discuss the ways that different strains can work in conjunction with other herbs to heal and create change within a person.
At the end of this workshop participants will have a deeper understanding of the value of Earth’s botany, a greater respect for holistic health, and a chance to curate their own herbal blunt to take with them on their journey.
